AMCS technologies’ anti-collision systems are operating on three Potain MR 295 H20 luffing jib and MC 205 B saddle jib tower cranes used for construction of the Statue of Unity in India. Once built, the monument dedicated to Indian statesman and leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will be the highest in the world, at a height of 182m.
The AMCS DCS 60 driving control system provides zoning and anti-collision for safety on the jobsite, by ensuring uninterrupted activity of the cranes that lift rebars, concrete and steel, and also assemble the bronze fixtures that will form the outer cladding of the statue.
