Thomas Pfister has been appointed to the newly created position of director of sales and technology at Paul Nutzfahrzeuge.
The German commercial vehicles manufacturer, which deals in the conversion and production of specialist trucks and chassis, says that Pfister’s appointment will help to further its international orientation.
In his new role, Pfister will be responsible for projects including the expansion of sales in the Middle East and Asian markets, strategy implementation, and customer-specific segmentation of the firm’s individual divisions.
Pfister has experience in construction, automation and traffic control technology, and compressor production. For the last decade, he has focused on the development and expansion of German commercial vehicles companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
As part of his latest role, Pfister will join the executive board of Paul Nutzfahrzeuge. In addition to Pfister, the board now consists of Reinhold Grösser, managing director responsible for production, Josef Spannbauer, commercial director responsible for the finance department, and Josef Paul, who remains the firm’s chairman and owner.
