Bobcat has chosen Italian show Samoter 2011 to launch its new TR50210 rotary telehandler, S850 skid-steer loader, T870 compact tracked loader, WS32 wheelsaw and 3400D utility vehicle for the EMEA region in March.
The company claims its new S850 skid-steer loader and T870 compact tracked loader are the most powerful loaders offering the highest lift height (3,657 mm) it has ever manufactured.
The 4.5 tonnes S850 skid-steer loader has a rated operating capacity of 1.7 tonnes, 17% more than the S330 model it replaces and increase of 26% digging power.
The 5.7 tonnes T870 compact tracked loader has a rated operating capacity of 1.5 tonnes, which is 7% more than that of the previous largest compact tracked loader, the T320 model. A fuller assessment shows the following specifications for the T870 compared to the T320.
The TR50210 is one of four new rotating telehandlers from Bobcat, complementing the company’s existing range of 12 rigid frame telehandlers. The new 360° and 400° rotating models, which have been launched to offer lifting capacities from 3.5 to 5.0 tonnes and lifting heights from 15.7 to 24.5m.
The S850 and T870 loaders are intended to run with the new WS32 wheelsaw attachment, the largest model ever offered by Bobcat. Designed to “cut efficiently through asphalt, rock and concrete”, the WS32 wheelsaw has a fixed trenching width of 250 mm while the depth can range from 450 to 800 mm. Applications include fixed width trenching for the utilities covering water, gas, power, telecommunications and fibre optic networks. The WS32 can be used for creating excavation sites and for slot cutting.
Completing the new range is the 3400D utility vehicle which has been with a wider variety of applications than previous models, including working on construction and landscaping worksites; buildings and grounds maintenance; fairs and exhibitions; mining and the military.
