Transport and logistics company Swift Freight International is rebranding to Barloworld Logistics in the Middle East.
Barloworld Logistics is a part of the South African Barloworld group. In 2008, Barloworld Logistics acquired several businesses in the Middle East and the Far East with warehousing, local transport and event management, among its activities.
In 2008, Dubai based Swift Freight International LLC was acquired by Barloworld Logistics.
“Our strategic intent is to provide supply chain management solutions to medium and large corporate customers. Fundamentally, we want to demonstrate our capabilities in the supply chain management through our freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution offerings that we have acquired from Swift,” commented Sean Bradley, managing director for the Barloworld Logistics Middle East operation. “We want to give our existing and potential customers, the confidence that we are capable of providing integrated supply chain solutions to meet any of their needs in the market.”
Barloworld Logistics will continue to offer its customers and overseas partners quality freight management & services such as customs clearance, export documentation, air freight, sea freight, warehousing, local transport, demand planning, inventory management, project cargo and event management.
