Dodge’s move comes following former Americas chief Carlos Tavares left the company to become Renault’s new COO.
Tavares will oversee the implementation of the Renault 2016 – Drive the Change programme, which will ensure that the group accelerates its growth in all international markets and increases its presence in new technologies, particularly electric vehicles.
Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Renault explained that: “the appointment of Carlos Tavares is a first step in strengthening Renault’s management. Carlos Tavares knows the automotive industry in all its dimensions: design, engineering, production, marketing, sales and international deployment.”
