KHL’s annual list of the 50 biggest companies construction equipment manufacturing reveals that Chinese companies continue to make a massive impact on global sales.

The recently published Yellow Book, list Caterpilllar, Komatsu and Hitachi as the top three companies still but lower down the list Chinese manufacturers such as Sany and Zoomlion have made impressive progress. 

Sany rose by four places to number seven, where as Zoomlion climbed three places to enter the top ten in ninth position. But it was South Korea’s Doosan that made the biggest move towards the top, rising nine places to sixth position. 

KHL also revealed that from 2002 to 2008 sales of Chinese equipment increased from $841 million to $22.8 billion, as increase of 2,711%.
