Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota in the UAE, recently handed over a fleet of 35 Land Cruiser Prados to Dubai Police (DP), further reinforcing a long association of 60 years.
The handover ceremony was headed by Brigadier Anas Al Matrooshi, Deputy Director Transport and Rescue Dubai Police and Simon Frith, MD, Al-Futtaim Motors and attended by senior officials from DP and Al-Futtaim Motors.
Simon Frith gave tribute to the six-decade-long relationship: “We would like to thank Dubai Police for its continuous trust in Al-Futtaim Motors and specifically the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
Brigadier Al Matrooshi commented: “This project further reinforces the long-standing collaborative relationship between Dubai Police and Al-Futtaim Motors.”
Preceding the handover of the 35 new Prados, Dubai Poilce also received training on Toyota’s ‘Intelligent Tester’, a machine that, once plugged into the vehicle, can detect any defect or malfunction, thus reducing the risk of any sudden breakdown.
