Chinese construction equipment manufacturer LiuGong has unveiled its 922E excavator and TD 40E dozer at Intermat, that latter carrying the heaviest undercarriage in the industry, according to David Beatenbough, VP of R&D at the company.
On the TD 40E, a modular power train allows repairs on just components in need of replacement, and its countershaft transmission has a third fewer parts than a planetary transmission.
On the 922E ‘intelligent power control’ helps the company deliver 20% improved fuel efficiency. The excavator has five modes, including power, efficiency and lifting.
