Atlas Copco Construction Tools has launched a new product variant of stripped-down medium hydraulic breakers, which will target a new market segment.
Atlas Copco says the MB Essential breakers “are powerful tools that do nothing else but their job”.
Touted as an high performance, low weight option, the MB Essential range of breakers come without some of the features standard on most Atlas Copco breakers, namely ContiLube II and the noise protection kit.
The result is a high power to weight ratio, meaning that operators can maintain impact performance with less less hydraulic input power required from the carrier, allowing smaller carriers to be used, which results in lower investment cost for the carrier.
