Fuso is to significantly expand its after sales business with a second cheaper parts brand, following sales of a limited portfolio of parts in the Middle East and Asia since the beginning of 2011.
Named Diamond Value Parts, Fuso is set to increase the product portfolio to more than 150 parts during 2012, distributed in more than 100 markets through Fuso’s worldwide distribution network.
It says that the spare parts of the new after sales brand will stand out in comparison to products of other market participants in terms of quality, dependability and efficiency, “while being significantly lower priced than genuine parts.
“Fuso thereby aims to expand into an additional and attractive business segment.”
According to Fuso’s parent company Daimler AG, markets with high demand growth such as Middle East, Asia, and Africa will remain a major sales focus, as well as the more matured markets.
