UAE-based Construction Machinery Center (CMC) has announced that it will sell Chicago Pneumatic portable air compressors, after Atlas Copco retired its Irmair compressor brand.
“Chicago Pneumatic portable compressors are characterized by reliability, easy maintenance and flexibility – the same recognizable features that underline Chicago Pneumatics’ portfolio of construction products,” said Ali Pektas, Chicago Pneumatic regional manager for the Middle East.
Chicago Pneumatic has a wide range of portable diesel compressors ranging from 7–21 bar, and CMC general manager Joe Lahoud said that customers should find a machine for almost every job site.
“Irmair has been one of our core brands over the past 18 years known for its high quality and competitive features,” he said.
“CMC is known in the UAE as a company that takes pride in having been working closely with its partners over the past forty years, providing high levels of customer service and expert advice.
“Now we can bring these qualities to Chicago Pneumatic with whom we believe we have much to offer, complementing our extensive range, offering a Total Solution to our customers throughout our branch network across UAE.”
Founded in Chicago in 1901, Chicago Pneumatic was acquired by Atlas Copco in 1987. Irmair is being retired in line with the Atlas Copco Group strategy.
Pektas said that customers should adjust easily to the new products.
“Specifically designed for construction professionals, the CPS compressor range features robust designs, good fuel autonomy and powerful engines under sound and weatherproof hoods.”
