Global Crane Sales, the worldwide distributor of the Zoomlion’s rough terrain and crawler crane lines, has released a new 100 tonne rough terrain crane, the RT100. The model was officially launched last November at bauma China in Shanghai.
The RT100 has a 43 metre main boom, a 11-19m jib, and is powered by a Cummins QSC 8.3 Diesel Tier III engine, generating 224kW @ 2200rpm.
The formed boom is made of high-yield steel, which reduces the operating weight of the boom and maximises performance, said the company.
The crane comes equipped with two cameras, a winch camera for viewing hoist operation, and a rear camera for viewing the rear of the crane. Operators can toggle between the two camera views on their in-cabin monitor.
The RT100 is built with a DANA powershift transmission, with six speeds forward, and three speeds reverse.
Other standard equipment includes a Greer RCI 777 load moment indicator, auxiliary winch, and rotation-resistant wire rope.
