Salamah Group has announced it will distribute the Robi hydraulic attachment range in the UAE, with a view to expanding in the wider GCC-region.
The range of products, including breakers, crushers, grapples and screening buckets, is produced by Ramtec Oy.
Ramtec, a Finnish company, was founded in the 1970’s. The Rammer brand was founded in 1978, before eventually becoming part of Sandvik Mining and Construction. Its factory, built in 1996, was sold to Ramtec in 2002 following a management buy-out.Â
From its factory, Ramtec produces a range of attachments that can be used in demolition projects, screening and recycling construction waste on-site.
Last year Salamah Group began distributing Sleipner. The Sleipner technology is a set of wheels that clamps on excavator tracks, and allows them to be transported by being ‘towed’ behind trucks, using their boom, typically used in quarries and mines to speed up the transportation of heavy excavators.
Group managing director Sherif Selim said that 2013 was starting with the strategic alliance with Ramtec.
