Abdulla Nass and Partners Co. Ltd (ANPC), a division of Sarens Nass Middle East, has signed a long-term crane rental deal with Saudi Aramco.
The 15-year rental contract will see 17 cranes made permanently available for Aramco. Ranging in capacity from 50 to 200 tonnes, they will be used for general lifting and shifting at various Aramco facilities across Saudi Arabia.
The contract was signed by Sameer Abdulla Nass, managing director of ANPC, and Nabeel A. Al-Jama, executive director of Aramco, in the presence of Abdulla Ahmed Nass, chairman and general manager of ANPC, at an Aramco office in Dhahran.
“Sarens Nass Middle East’s (SNME) long term endeavour with Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest oil company, will surely enhance our reputation for excellence and total commitment as a leading provider of integrated crane services and heavy lifting solutions in the Middle East,” said Masroor Saeed Malik, general manager of SNME.
Established in 2002, SNME is a joint venture between Nass Group, and Belgian-based Sarens NV, known globally as a specialist in heavy lifting.
The company, based in Bahrain, initially had 25 cranes, but has seen its fleet grow to more than 300 units. It has also established country offices in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.
“With a market hungry for cranes, the company has flourished since its inception, working to meet the seemingly insatiable demand for heavy lifting,” said Malik.
“Keeping in line with our vision to emerge as leaders in providing solutions in the heavy lifting and shifting industry in the GCC, Sarens Nass has left no stone unturned with regards to quality, safety and professional standards,” he said.
