Oman’s International Heavy Equipment (IHE), part of the Zubair Auto Group, has held its annual product demonstration day in Seeb. IHE’s brands include Case Construction, Volvo and Renault Trucks, Montabert, Bobcat, Putzmeister, Liebherr mobile cranes and Liebherr concrete equipments.
The event kicked-off in the early hours of the evening with a demonstration by Case Construction’s heavy equipment, followed by a seminar on the latest in cement technology presented by Liebherr engineers from Germany.
The annual production demonstration day is a major event in the IHE calendar, said general manager Ram Mohan.
“The objective of the product show was to build awareness of IHE’s product and services to the end customers. IHE represents several world class products in Oman and has an established reputation for providing effective and efficient products and solutions.”
Putzmeister presented IHE with a special achievement award during the function. Jens Bawidamann, Regional Director GCC commented, “IHE has a real bond with its customers and we are committed to support them in achieving our common goals.”
The company is currently developing a new 55,000m³ facility at Misfa for trucks and equipment. When completed in 2014, it will be the largest multi-brand truck and equipment facility in Oman.
