Link-Belt has appointed Bakheet as a distributor in Saudi Arabia, as the US-based crane manufacturer looks to expand its presence in KSA.
Bakheet, with seven locations within the Kingdom, is a well-known equipment seller in the Kingdom, with brands that include Wirtgen Group’s road-building lines Hamm and Voegele. Bakheet Company for Machinery was established in 1974.
“Bakheet represents the type of distributor Link-Belt is interested in partnering with in order to grow our Middle Eastern presence,” said Roy Burger, international sales manager at Link-Belt.
Link-Belt at Bauma
Specialising in rough-terrain cranes, telescoping crawler cranes and all-terrain cranes, Link-Belt will be showing four machines at the Bauma show in Munich, two telescopic crawler cranes and two rough terrain cranes, including the RTC 8080 Series II, with a maximum 72.6 tonne (80 short tons) lift.
The RTC 8080 Series II sits in the middle of Link-Belt’s rough terrain model range, and features a full power, four section, 38.7 m long main boom. It features an extend system which incorporates a two-mode telescope proportioning system known as A-max and a standard for optimum strength and stability charts.
A new feature added to the RTC-8080 Series II is the new remote-controlled, high-intensity boom floodlight that attaches to the end of the telescopic boom base section and can be used as a spotlight in night-time settings.
