SITECH Gulf, the provider of Trimble and CAT Accugrade machine control products, has held a customer day in Abu Dhabi in order to demonstrate its products to customers and visitors.
The company was formed in 2012 as a part of the Mohamed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar group of companies, operating in tbe UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait, with its products designed to assist customers to improve machine productivity.
The customer day demonstrated the advantages of Trimble and Cat AccuGrade 2D and 3D machine controls, surveying products and project monitoring solutions on a  range of machine types and technology. This included the dual GPS excavators, dual GPS track-type tractors, sonic paver systems, and VisionLink project monitoring.
The firm said that the event drew a large attendance of the UAE’s premier contractors. Its goal was to introduce and educate people about the advanced technology and best practices used in other parts of the world, but have only had  limited adoption in the GCC.
Attendees were shown technology that has the potential to dramatically increase the productivity and quality of their projects, allowing them to be more competitive in the global market.
