FAMCO will sell Gardner Denver compressors in Saudi Arabia, after Gardner Denver FZE appointed the Al-Futtaim company as its exclusive distributor in the Kingdom.
FAMCO will sell the complete range of CompAir portable compressors through its five regional branch offices in Saudi, offering full sales and aftermarket service support.
David Fenwick, sales manager at Gardner Denver FZE, said that FAMCO proved attractive as a distributor since it had the necessary technical skills, as well as the structure in place to support customers in even the most remote areas of the Kingdom.
“Saudi Arabia is one of Gardner Denver’s most important markets. With the high volume of infrastructure and drilling projects being commissioned in recent years, we have seen an increased demand for our range of portable compressors as customers look to source reliable, cost-efficient solutions for their construction projects,” he said.
“It soon became apparent that FAMCO would be an ideal partner. Operating through state-of-the-art facilities in Jeddah, Abha, Makkah, Riyadh and Dammam as well as satellite workshops and parts centres, the company has a proven track record of customer service coupled with high quality and safety standards.”
