General Navigation & Commerce Company (GENAVCO) has signed an agreement with STOW, a Belgium-based manufacturer of racking & shelving products, thereby allowing the UAE-based PMV company to now cater to the larger needs of the logistics and warehousing industry – a market worth AED: 350m ($95m).
“Through our partnership with STOW, we now have access to an extensive portfolio of racking and shelving products, allowing us to offer more comprehensive storage and handling solutions to our customers,” said Isam Abu Nabah, president, GENAVCO.
“Catering to our clientele’s needs in the past has allowed us to grow as a trusted name in the field, and this development will further reinforce our stronghold on the market,” he added.
Christoph Mestdagh, group sales director, STOW, said that he was confident that the partnership would prove to be fruitful for both companies involved in the deal.
“Through this new alliance we are able to enter the market on solid footing, through one of the leading suppliers of construction, industrial and materials handling equipment in the UAE,” Mestdagh said.
STOW’s products will make their debut at Materials Handling Middle East 2013 exhibition in Dubai, scheduled to be held from 10-12 September 2013.
Included among the products that will be introduced is the ISO9001 certified STOW Atlas Pallet Shuttle System, a self-powered device that optimises storage capacity by facilitating the loading and unloading of pallets.
