Doosan Infracore has opened a new parts distribution centre in Dubai, UAE.

The comoany says the facility will help to reduce the delivery times of stock orders from 27 countries across the Middle East and Africa.

Historically, Doosan Infracore used an air cargo service to fulfil urgent orders across the region. However, parts delivered via this method of transportation typically took five to seven days to arrive.

The company claims that its new parts distribution centre will allow components to be delivered to customers within 24 hours of when an order is placed.

As the construction equipment market across the Middle East and Africa continues to grow, Doosan intends to use its Dubai facility to drive sales and improve customer support.

“The opening of the new parts distribution centre implies Doosan’s efforts to provide consistent customer service to dealers and customers in every part of the world,” said Jong Seon Ahn, executive managing director for aftermarket and product support at Doosan Infracore. “We will continuously satisfy the customers’ needs with various supports, including faster parts distribution.”

The new parts distribution centre forms part of Doosan’s strategy to achieve better global service and higher product competitiveness. The facility will contribute to the company’s goal of establishing a worldwide 24-hour parts delivery network by 2016.
