ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014 will set the stage for the launch of Volvo Construction Equipment’s Tier 4 Final engine technology. The Swedish manufacturer also plans to use the Las Vegas event to showcase its latest range of machines and services.
Volvo CE will unveil 17 new products at ConExpo 2014, including new generations of its E-Series excavators, G-Series articulated haulers, and H-Series wheel loaders. The manufacturer will also exhibit its latest ranges of backhoe loaders, motor graders, skid-steer loaders, and tracked-steer loaders.
However, taking centre stage will be Volvo’s new Tier 4 Final/Stage IV engine technology, which the company claims is not only cleaner than its predecessor, but – in most cases – also more powerful. Attendees will have the chance to question Volvo CE experts on industry trends, customer support, and financing.
The manufacturer will occupy a 31,520ft2 exhibition area at the trade show. Volvo machines will be arranged in a series of feature areas: general purpose construction equipment, utility, road construction, and customer solutions.
At the company’s 6,000ft2 outdoor area, visitors will be able to try their hand at operating a BL60B backhoe loader and an EC55C excavator. Prizes will be awarded to contestants who complete the tasks in the shortest times.
ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014 will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on 4-8 March 2014. Volvo CE will occupy booth 10951 in the North Hall.
