Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has unveiled 12 small and medium models from its 9-Series line-up of forklift trucks.
Ranging from 2.2t to 5t, the latest units boast a selection of updated features. For example, in order to allow for safer loading and unloading, the 9-Series forklifts sport a monitor that displays the weights of goods, the gradient of the machine, and the angle between ground level and the mast in real time.
The machines also feature high-visibility LED lamps and cameras to minimise the risk of rear-end collisions, an Operator Presence Sensing System (OPSS) that automatically engages the brakes when the driver alights from the cabin, and a diagnostics system that enables owners to monitor the condition of components.
The 9-Series diesel forklifts have achieved annual sales growth of 30% since 2009, and Hyundai hopes that the latest additions will help to maintain this trend.
