Montabert has revealed that it is considering introducing its range of drills in the Middle East market.
The attachments manufacturer, which is perhaps best known for its selection of hydraulic breakers, hinted that it might initiate the regional roll-out of its drills line-up during 2015.
In an interview with PMV, Karl Fakhoury, Montabert’s district attachments manager for the Middle East and Africa, said that he and his team would probably begin by launching larger models, and continue to work their way down the spectrum.
“Montabert is famous for its breakers, but it also manufacturers a number of other products such as crusher buckets, cutters, and pulverisers,” he explained.
“With this in mind, we are looking to introduce our drilling attachments in the Middle East. We feel that there is sufficient and growing demand for these products, and we are looking forward to rolling them out in the region,” Fakhoury added.
Although Montabert’s drilling attachments are not on sale in this region at present, they are already widely used in the European market. The manufacturer produces drills that are compatible with various classes of excavator, from heavy-duty models all the way down to the ‘mini’ end of the spectrum.
“Montabert is likely to begin the Middle Eastern roll-out of its drilling attachments during 2015, and continue until the range is complete,” revealed Fakhoury.
“There’s no concrete plan as of yet, but we would probably begin by introducing the heavier-duty products, and move towards the mini-excavator drill models,” he added.
