Bahwan Engineering Company (BEC) has signed an agreement with Rubber World Industries (RWI) stipulating that it will use Gulf-O-Flex rubber insulation in all of its projects.
The deal paves the way for collaboration on $1.5mn worth of existing and future projects across the UAE and wider Middle East.
It is hoped that the strategic alliance will also enable the companies to promote environmentally minded buildings and adhere to green construction codes across the Middle East.
“This new landmark agreement with BEC further reinforces our reputation as a leading manufacturer of world-class, rubber-based building materials,” commented Rizwan Shaikhani, managing director of RWI.
“Using our diverse range of products, including the industry award-winning Gulf-O-Flex range, across all of BEC’s current and future projects, will prove to be a winning advantage of these new infrastructures – allowing them the key confidence and security that rubber materials used in their buildings are not only high quality, but are also reliable and durable,” he added.
The agreement between RWI and BEC was signed as part of the companies’ broader strategic plans to develop marketing alliances with industry stakeholders. Under the terms of the partnership, BEC will use RWI’s range of rubber insulation products with a specific focus on its Gulf-O-Flex line.
In turn, RWI will leverage its product portfolio across approximately $1.5mn of current and future BEC projects across the region.
