Abu Dhabi Police buys 25 Mercedes-Benz saloons

EMC delivers customised E-Class fleet to General Police Directorate

Abu Dhabi Police has taken delivery of 25 Mercedes-Benz E-Class saloons from Emirates Motor Company (EMC).

The fleet, which consists of Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueEfficiency CGI models, was delivered to the General Police Directorate of Abu Dhabi after the vehicles had been modified to suit the specific requirements of the constabulary.

The customised 2014 saloons were supplied by EMC, the authorised Mercedes-Benz distributor in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

“EMC has a strong, long-standing relationship with the police department in Abu Dhabi of over 20 years,” commented Ali H Atwi, accounts sales manager at the dealer, which is an Al Fahim Group company.

“Coupled with EMC’s unlimited commitment to service excellence, they trust the Mercedes-Benz brand for its unequivocal and pioneering safety features, intense durability, and convenient high engine performance,” he said.

Anthony Gibson, corporate sales manager at EMC, added: “EMC is always keen on contributing to the development of the city as part of its corporate vision and mission, and our relationship with the police department is proof.

“With Abu Dhabi rapidly advancing and expanding, it is necessary for the government to guarantee the safety and security of residents by ensuring they have the right number of fully equipped vehicles on the streets,” he concluded.
