Himoinsa and FAMCO hosted a seminar to discuss energy-related issues pertaining to special projects in the Middle East.
The Spanish genset manufacturer and its regional channel partner brought together a variety of high-profile stakeholders at the UAE event.
The firms invited professionals from the construction, engineering, and telecoms sectors, and also hosted representatives from the UAE Ministry of Public Works.
“With these kinds of events, we can bring our solutions to the market,” explained Guillermo Elum, director of sales and marketing at Himoinsa.
Seminar participants debated the latest thinking on catering to the power requirements of special projects in the Middle East. Topics of discussion included power-generation plants, hybrid systems, gas-power generation, and variable-speed gensets.
An array of UAE stakeholders attended the event, such as Fujairah Rock and Aggregate, Metito, AF Engineering, Al Hamad Group Sharjah, Al Ittihad Electro Mechanical, and Du. In conjunction with FAMCO, its authorised distributor for the UAE, KSA, and Qatar, Himoinsa is confident that it is well placed to cater to the region’s portable power requirements.
“Himoinsa offers not only generator sets, but comprehensive solutions. We have a technical team of engineers working exclusively on ‘power solutions’, designing plug-and-play systems, turnkey projects, and medium-voltage projects,” Elum concluded.
