Bion Industrial, a UAE-based heavy transport OEM, has unveiled a trio of top-end-tech tipper trailers, designed, developed and built in the Emirates, at a launch and live demonstration in Dubai.
Targeting the abrasive bulk material haulage sector, the three B480, B340 and B250 models feature SSAB’s Hardox steel in their bodies and a host of other longevity- and safety-boosting technologies.
The result is a trio of tipper trailers with low tare weight – enabling a bigger chassis for less deflection and safer tipping – and heavy-duty disc rims for tubeless tyres and 5-stage tipping cylinders.
“The trailers that were available in the market were not efficient, so we looked at the rest of the world, analysed the gap, and 18 months ago we began to manufacture the first trailers,” Noas Al Rawi, CEO, told PMV Middle East.
It then took four generations of careful design satisfy Al Rawi’s original vision for the tipper trailers.
“The launch of these tippers demonstrates that the UAE is capable of producing products that can meet the highest international standards, and our quality control methods are testament to this,” added Al Rawi.
The three new trailers also feature a seamless longitudinal structure for longer life, an aerodynamic design for reduced air resistance and better performance and fuel efficiency and a rounded body shape for higher payload.
Additional features include tilt alert, a twin-line air brake system (ABS), a plastic wheel choke, EU-compliant electrical systems and five-year maintenance-free LED lighting.
