Hamriyah Free Zone (HFZA) based ATS Terminal has increased its storage capacity from 22,000m3 to 42,000m3.

The company, which offers services like storage and transport of liquid chemicals and fuel, recently completed its phase two expansion.

“The facility, with six piggable pipelines from the deep harbour and inner harbour respectively, is equipped to handle, store and distribute all kinds of Class 1, 2 and 3 products on behalf of our customers in the UAE and the GCC,” Avinash Gandhi, managing director of ATS Terminal told state agency WAM.

Speaking on the occasion, Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, director of HFZA said, “We are happy to see the growth of ATS Terminal which has been operational since 2012.

“Our goal is to create a robust business environment by meeting the needs and demands of our investors, and seeing such developments show that we are achieving our goals.”

ATS Terminal is currently utilising only 30% of the existing plot, and has plans to triple capacity in the future.

The company intends to kickstart phases three and four in 2016 and 2017 respectively, with a total investment of over $27.2m (AED100m).
