Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe (HCME) has signed the manufacture of its own-brand compact articulated wheeled loaders over to Mecalac, to be built at the French manufacturer’s wheeled loader plant in Büdelsdorf, Germany.
The agreement covers three loaders: the ZW65-6, ZW75-6 and ZW95-6, which operating weights from 4.9t to 5.4t, which will be sold through HCME’s authorised dealer network.
The Hiatchi loaders have a self-stabilising articulated pendulum joint that increases their stability, and a 100% differential lock in the front and rear axles that can be engaged on demand. Each model is also equipped with a single boom for improved visibility on busy sites.
