Attendees at tonight’s Construction Week Awards will be given the opportunity to put their excavator skills to the test as part of FAMCO’s excavator challenge.
Experts from FAMCO will invite guests to try their hand on one their Volvo Construction Equipment excavator simulators.
The participant judged to be the best operator on the night will be rewarded with a collectors’ edition Volvo scale model, with a retail value of EUR100 (USD108).
The Dubai-headquartered distributor will also present scale models to each of tonight’s award winners.
FAMCO’s scale models have become somewhat of a tradition at the Construction Week Awards, which will take place at InterContinental – Dubai Festival City tonight (9 December, 2015). FAMCO, which is the official distributor for Volvo CE and Volvo Trucks in the UAE, has gifted the collectors’ items at the previous five awards ceremonies.
In addition to Volvo CE and Volvo Trucks, FAMCO is the authorised representative for a host of other equipment brands. As such, the firm will use the Construction Week Awards 2015 to showcase Himoinsa generators and lighting towers, Doosan Portable Power compressors, and a Volvo CE skid-steer loader (SSL).
More than 400 of the construction sector’s most influential figures will attend the Construction Week Awards 2015, which are designed to recognise individual excellence, corporate prowess, and project success.
