A fuel tanker reportedly exploded after catching fire in the Egyptian city of Alexandria on 3 April.
Videos doing the rounds on social media show the tanker flipped on its side in what appears to have been an accident.
It is unclear how long the tanker stayed in this position before a car near it exploded, presumably due to the tanker’s leak.
The car’s fire triggered an explosion in the tanker as well.
According to state owned daily, Ahram, the tanker was located on Alexandria’s Al Kebbari street.
Ahram said the truck was loaded with 30 tonnes of fuel.
Brigadier Omar Jaballah, director of the civil protection department of the Security Directorate of Alexandria, said it required 10 fire trucks to control the blaze.
