CNH Industrial has introduced FAMCO as its new distribution partner for the Iveco and Astra brand in Saudi Arabia over three events in Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah that attracted more than 650 industry professionals from across the country, representing governmental entities and both construction and transport sectors.

The partnership between FAMCO and CNH Industrial began in 2013 with the UAE company’s takeover of another dealer, and the last three years have been spent preparing for the relaunch.

CNH Industrial present a full range of trucks – from light Iveco Daily panel vans and medium-duty Iveco Stralis trucks through to extra-heavy Astra trucks – and provides a full range of on- and off-road solutions in the Middle East, in addition to offering tailor-made services to its regional customers.

Heavy-duty trucks represent Iveco and Astra’s core business in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as Egypt and other key markets in the Middle East, but CNH Industrial’s range offers a superior choice for fleet owners both off and on the highway.

Pierre Lahutte, Iveco Brand President, added: “We are extremely pleased with our partnership with FAMCO, who we are sure will substantially improve the level of service to customers in Saudi Arabia.

“FAMCO is a reputable organisation with a strong financial capability and widespread network in Saudi Arabia that will provide us with business opportunities both in terms of sales and aftersales services, and we look forward to a establishing a long-term relationship with the firm.”

Iveco is present in the Middle East in partnership with 16 dealers and through over 29 sales points, in addition to more than 43 service points providing aftersales assistance to customers all over Africa.

Globally, the Italian brand employs close to 21,000 individuals and manages production sites in seven countries and 4,200 sales and service outlets providing technical support in over 160 countries.
