Carl Slotte has been named president for Volvo Construction Equipment (CE)’s EMEA (Europe – Middle East – Africa) sales region in an appointment, that will take effect from October 1.
Slotte has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, including senior positions within Volvo CE’s global functions such as senior VP for global key accounts and VP of Hub North within the EMEA sales region, MD of Volvo CE Russia (Volvo Vostok) and MD of owned dealer Volvo CE Finland.
In his new role, Slotte will be responsible for meeting the diverse needs of customers in the strategically important EMEA region and strengthening Volvo CE’s market position.
He succeeds Tomas Kuta, who was appointed senior vice president of global sales in June 2016.
