Continental’s official distributor in the UAE, Emirates for Universal Tyres (EUT), and the Gulf Tyre Company, have opened the first Continental retail outlet dedicated to the end consumer in the UAE.
Located in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, the outlet aims to meet the growing demand for ultra-high performance products, and joins EUT’s two showrooms, five service centres and warehousing facilities in the UAE.
Ahmed Mowafy, GM of EUT, noted: “The opening of the new facility marks a further opportunity for customers in the UAE to access premium, German-engineered tyres and a team of specialists ensuring they get the best service. Clientele will have the opportunity to have their tyres fitted, realigned or balanced at the retail outlet.”
The products include several ranges designed to maintain their performance in the tough climatic conditions, as well as ContiSeal tyres, which are designed to seal a damaged tyre tread in case of penetration by foreign objects.
José Luis de La Fuente, MD of Continental ME, added: “Our partnership with Gulf Tyre and EUT will help us connect with end consumers, and build a closer relationship with clients. The outlet is Continental’s first such venture in the market and opens the doors for further expansion in the future.”
