Terex Equipment Middle East has named Manlift Qatar as an official distributor for Genie aerial work platforms (AWP), telehandlers and Terex light towers in Qatar — in a move aimed at expanding its sales and service coverage in the country.

Manlift Qatar will now function as a full service provider in the country, offering technical support and maintaining parts stock to help maximise equipment uptime on Qatari job sites.

“Having Manlift on board is a logical step in the Middle East and will allow us to be increasingly responsive and flexible at the local level,” said Gary Cooke, regional sales manager for Terex AWP.

“By providing comprehensive support before and after purchase, our strategic partner will make the buying process easy for our customers, whether they need a single machine or a whole fleet. They will offer a full aftersales service, from warranty and routine maintenance to parts and repair.”

David King, group MD for Manlift, which has five depots and 2,200 machines across the Middle East and Asia, said: “By awarding the dealership to us, Genie has expressed its confidence in Manlift to develop the access equipment market in Qatar and the image of the Genie brand across the region.

“Our team is highly motivated to deliver the best customer experience and support to the market.”
