Wacker Neuson has launched the WL28 compact wheel leader, a transport helper designed for the rigours of the construction site that combines high load capacity with flexibility and manoeuvrability.
Compact wheel loaders are used where a flexible and reliable machine for material transport is needed: in gardening and landscaping, in rental yards, by construction companies and municipal authorities.
The WL28 has compact dimensions and low operating weight, which allows transport on a standard trailer, and requires less than 2.3m of headroom – allowing it to enter most buildings and confined spaces.
Yet despite its compact size, the wheel loader is powerful, with a tipping load of 1.9 tonnes, making the transport of goods – such as a pallet of up to eight layers of paving stone – a simple task.
Additionally, the loading of construction trucks is no problem due to the overhead loading height of 2.33 metres – aided by optimised parallel guidance and two large lift cylinders on the load arm.
The WL28 has high stability, with a short wheel base and an articulated pendulum joint, and a tight turning radii with its articulation angle of 44 degrees.
A performance hydraulic with up to 58.5l/minute enables the operation of a wide range of hydraulic attachments, including mowers, sweepers and concrete mixing blades.
The special tilting cab of the WL28 also allows quick access to the hydraulics, hoses and engine for fast and uncomplicated maintenance for shorter downtimes.
The optional foldable driver canopy on the cab can further reduce the head clearance.
