Kuwait-based Integrated Logistics Company has signed an order for 12 Demag cranes, including two AC 130-5, four AC 160-5 and six AC 300-6 all-terrain cranes, from Terex Cranes.
Salah Al Huwaidi, CEO at Integrated Logistics, said the company selected the Demag models for their best-in-class boom lengths and interchangeable components.
“Besides being impressed with the product line, we’ve always received fast, reliable service from Terex Cranes — they really go above and beyond for us,” he added.
The order comes just a year after Integrated Logistics took delivery of an order of more than 30 Demag and Terex cranes. Delivery of the 12 new cranes is scheduled for later this year.
The order also comes a year after Integrated Logistics placed another order for 24 all-terrain Grove cranes from Manitowoc Cranes.
In March, Bahrain-based Sarens Nass Middle East also added 15 of the five-axle Demag AC-130-5 all-terrain cranes to its fleet.
The AC 130-5 was one of the first Demag machines made by Terex after it resurrected the brand in the context of all-terrain cranes at Bauma 2016.
Integrated Logistics Company is a specialist in heavy lifting and transport. It deploys cranes like those ordered on the various oil refineries throughout the Gulf.
The business owns and operates more than 2,000 items of equipment in its fleet, including more than 600 cranes, more than 200 self-propelled modular transporters, tower lifting gantry systems and other equipment.
