German-Gulf Enterprises is providing fourteen Chicago Pneumatic stationary generators to support the construction of a 6,000-home residential development situated alongside the Dubai Canal and due for completion in 2021.
The order includes six CPSG300, five CPSG200, one CPSG105 and two CPSG60 stationary generators – all of which will also come equipped with Chicago Pneumatic’s BSE7320 control panel, which enables users to operate the machines remotely.
Sushil Kumar, divisional manager at German-Gulf Enterprises, noted: “We put forward CPSG gensets in response to the tender, as they provide excellent durability and are built to withstand tough worksite conditions and high working temperatures.
“These features were deemed essential by the contractor as the project needed a power supply capable of performing continuously over a long period of time.”
Ziaur Rahman, assistant sales manager at German-Gulf Enterprises, continued: “Our proposal highlighted features such as the CPSG range’s corrosion-resistant canopy and rugged base that offers extra impact protection for sensitive areas of the unit.
“In addition, we were able to share technical data from recent CPSG installations in Saudi Arabia which combined to persuade our customer that the generators were the right fit for the project.”
The units are readily serviceable, coming equipped with removable 45° doors for accessibility, as well as dual-position air outlets for flexible installation, and spillage-free frame designs for eco-friendly liquid drainage.
To facilitate faster positioning of the generators, both on and off-site, the project contractor also requested that all of the larger CPSG300 machines were equipped with an optional lifting beam.
Additional features of the units include varying levels of noise isolation, lockable fuel filling caps, robust terminal board for connection with or without clamps, and easy access to the fuel tank for routine cleaning to prevent damage from contaminants.
