Kuwait’s Jassim Transport & Stevedoring (JTC) has purchased a new nine-axle, 700-tonne capacity class, Demag AC 700-9 all-terrain crane, expanding the contractor’s capabilities and growing its Terex fleet to 25 cranes.
With a 60m-long main boom and 96m-long main boom extension, the Demag AC 700-9 will deliver significant lift height and reach advantages to the JTC fleet, while its compact chassis design will make for quick and easy transporting and positioning.

“We have been pleased with the productivity and quality of our Demag cranes,” explained Adel Kohari, Jassim’s CEO. “Our work continues to grow, and to keep up with demand we need reliable and versatile equipment, and this is why we chose the Demag AC 700-9 model.”
The order comes in addition to JTC’s purchase of five smaller Demag cranes in June 2017 and will help the company keep up with its growing workload in Kuwait.
Kohari continued: “From the product’s design and on-board features and technology to its reliability and the support we receive on the ground, it’s always a pleasure to do business with Terex Cranes.”
