Commuters traveling between Dubai and Sharjah can expect a reduction in traffic congestion and an improvement in overall traffic conditions following the completion of a road project in the UAE.

The project involved expanding a vital road that connects the two cities, which included the addition of a 600-meter lane and extra parking facilities.

Recently, the Roads and Transport Authority of Sharjah announced the seamless integration of the newly constructed lane, which is connected to the Al Kholafaa Al Rashdeen Bridge.

This integration is part of their ongoing efforts to enhance the flow of traffic on Al Ittihad Street.

In addition, the Sharjah RTA has also made necessary adjustments to the service road pavements and incorporated extra parking spaces. These adjustments aim to meet the infrastructure needs of road users and accommodate the growing population of Sharjah.
