MOTORTECH GmbH has announced that it is relocating all operational departments and manufacturing facilities to new headquarters in Hunaeusstrasse 5, Celle in Germany, effective from June 1, 2023.

The new facility includes 2,500 square metres of office space and over 6,000 square metres of production and storage space, MOTORTECH GmbH wrote in a statement.

It will provide a solid platform for continued growth and help strengthen Germany as a leading business location over the coming years, the statement noted.

” With immediate effect, MOTORTECH can confirm operations at its production facility in Poland will stop, ” the company said.

Moving all production to Germany allows the business to optimise work & material flows and automation processes, leading to faster production times, while maintaining the outstanding levels of quality the company is renowned for.

The company is also introducing the ‘MOTORTECH Excellence Initiative‘ which focuses on implementing digitalisation, automation, and lean manufacturing techniques to ensure the business is delivering outstanding products and services at all times.

Commenting on the development, MOTORTECH GmbH, Managing Director, Markus Kruse said, “The company has grown significantly over the last few years. Our production capacities in Hogrevestrabe, Celle and at our facility in Poland can no longer support our manufacturing demands. Moving our entire production facility and operational teams to the same location gives us a solid platform to deliver on our ambitious growth plans.”

He explained, “Having our manufacturing and product development teams on the same site will lead to quicker product development times, ensuring the business maintains its position as market leader in the gas engine accessories segment.”
