Comansa launches 18 and 24-tonne luffing jib cranes at Bauma China 2018

The two crane models will help Comansa meet the increasing demand for 18 and 24-tonne luffing jib cranes in Asia and the Middle East

Comansa launched two new luffers, the CML280 and CML310, to meet the increasing demand for 18 and 24-tonne luffing jib cranes in Asia and the Middle East, as well as target markets in Africa and South America.

The new cranes feature a counterjib radius of 7.3m, which is an advantage on congested sites. The CML280 18t has a reach of 60m, and the load at maximum reach is 2900 kg. It has a hoist speed of up to 168 metres per minute and wire rope capacity of up to 790m. The CML310 18t has a reach of 60m, and the load at maximum reach is 3500 kg. It has a hoist speed of up to 168 metres per minute and wire rope capacity of up to 790m. The CML310 24t version, too, has a reach of 60m, and the load at maximum reach is 3200 kg. It has a hoist speed of up to 131 metres per minute and wire rope capacity of up to 640m.

Comansa has also upgraded of two of its most successful flat-top cranes. The 18 tonne versions of both 21CM335 and 21CM550 models have been upgraded and now have maximum load capacity of 20 tonnes. With this improvement, Comansa completes the upgrade of all models from the 2100 Series, formed by tower cranes with maximum load capacity from 12 to 50 tonnes.
