Himoinsa will focus on rental power solutions at Bauma 2019 with new generator ranges such as the S5 Stage V, Silent Plus and rental gas; transformer substations and lighting towers.

The new S5 generator sets with EU Stage V engines comply with environmental and regulatory obligations with new design features.

Guillermo Elum, EMEA director, Himoinsa, said: “Models with Yanmar, FPT and Scania engines incorporate a carefully designed canopy to host the new post-treatment system as well as the electrical installation, and new, more efficient and safer control panels. From 2019 to 2021, the European market will be immersed in a period of transition and that rental companies will need time to adapt their fleets to the new regulation. During this period of transition, Himoinsa will continue to offer generator sets with Stage IIIA engines for a period of up to 24 months after the new regulation goes into effect.”

Rental gas generator sets offer reduced emissions and same Stage V certification than their diesel stage V generator counterparts, due to environmentally friendly fuels which is an increasingly interesting option for rental companies.

Manuel Aguilera, gas product manager, Himoinsa, said: “Gas generators are a game changer for rental companies looking for quieter and cleaner generators. One of the key points is the operating expenses and, indeed, gas gensets guarantee the most reduced OPEX due to the fact that maintenance intervals are longer.”

Himoinsa will showcase the HRGO 40 LPG, a rental generator set powered by liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and provides 37 kVA of power. Its rental canopy version incorporates LPG storage for more than 35 hours of continuous operation (70% PRP) without refuelling. These generators can also be connected to an external tank to extend their running time for as long as desired.

The integrated tanks are LPG-certified for vehicles, making them a versatile option for the rental sector, where there is a high demand for mobile equipment that is easy to transport and can refuel at an LPG pump at a service station.

“At this point in time, Himoinsa is the only genset manufacturer that produces gas generators with integrated LPG tanks,” Aguilera added.

Himoinsa will also display its HRFW 200 S+ model of its Silent Plus generators. These quieter generator set provides 200 kVA of power, and it features a fuel tank with a capacity of almost 1000L to provide an extended running time for the rental sector. Intended for work in locations with higher acoustic restrictions, Silent Plus gensetshave been designed with a dual-core exhaust system, first-class insulation, control panel insulation, and a high level of soundproofing.

The HRS-3150 D5 / 6 transformer substation is a portable transformer substation, in an easy-to-transport 10-foot container, allowing the voltage transformation of two generator sets connected in parallel at the same time and able to transform up to 3,150 kVA of power. A 20-foot container version (HRS-6300 D5/6) is also available, with identical performance but making it possible to connect four generator sets in parallel at the same time, transforming up to 6,300 kVA of power. The transformer substations guarantee 98.5% of efficiency and minimum guaranteed power loss.

Himoinsa will also display compact, autonomous and resistant lighting towers, such as the Apolo Compact Heavy Duty, with LEDspotlights and reinforced extendable stabilizers, which offers up to 191,820 lumens of lighting capacity with low fuel consumption; 0.8L/H or 125 hours autonomy.
