ETS SIAD Automobiles (Groupe SIAD), the distributor of Terex Cranes in Algeria, signed an order for nine Terex rough terrain cranes – six Terex RT 45 and three RT 45L models – at bauma 2019.
Both models are of the 45-tonne capacity class, which only differ in the length of their main jibs: the Terex RT 45 model is equipped with a 31.1m main boom, and the RT 45L model has a 37.40m main boom.
Terex also showcased the RT 90 rough terrain model at the bauma expo, featuring a control system with integrated diagnostics and a new ergonomic cab design with an 18-degree tilt. Operators can access lift information through the Terex IC-1 control system. The electro-proportional joysticks and an integrated system design provide the operator with precision controls. The setup of joystick functions can be configured to the operator’s own preferences. The Terex RT 90 crane also features four steering modes, including two-wheel, four-wheel, crab and independent rear axle steering.
