As you read this, professionals from across the global construction community are packing their bags, donning their comfiest walking boots, and perfecting their Elvis impersonations.
That’s right, CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014 will open its doors on Tuesday 4 March 2014, and those behind the Las Vegas event are confident that it will be bigger and better than ever before.
A staggering 2,400 firms are due to exhibit at this year’s show, and the Las Vegas Convention Center is expecting to play host to more than 125,000 visitors over the course of five days.
“If it’s new, it’s here,” claim the organisers, and with a line-up that reads like a who’s who of the international plant, machinery, and vehicle sectors, you’d be hard pushed to disagree.
However, this event isn’t just about product launches. Exhibitors and attendees also stand to benefit from the countless networking opportunities on offer. After all, a gathering of this magnitude allows stakeholders from across the globe to forge new relationships face to face.
In collaboration with its sister publication PMV Middle East, ConstructionWeekOnline.com has been asking some of the industry’s biggest names what they hope to gain by appearing at CONEXPO.
