French lifting equipment specialist Haulotte is transporting a selection of aerial work platforms (AWPs) to Las Vegas, and will use CONEXPO to introduce its HT67 RTJ telescopic boom to the American markets.
“Trade shows are an important platform for business,” said Haulotte’s chief operating officer Alexandre Saubot. “80% of our customers are rental companies, so our products must have applications across a broad range of sectors. CONEXPO will allow us to meet with new prospects, and to emphasise our industry know-how.”
However, the rental sector is not the only target market for Saubot and his colleagues. Haulotte also has ambitions to make further inroads into new geographical regions. Indeed, the manufacturer appears particularly interested in engaging with customers south of the border, according to Saubot.
“CONEXPO has an international reputation,” he explained. “It will enable us to meet with customers from across the world. Of course, many industry professionals from the United States will be in attendance, but we would also like to make new contacts in the Latin American market.”
