LiuGong has launched the 950E, a hydraulic excavator tailored to operations in the Middle East.
The bespoke machine features an improved radiator for work in high temperatures, a widened track for desert operations, and an efficient filter to combat dust.
Operator comfort was also a priority for the Chinese manufacturer, which stated: “The newly designed cab features expansive legroom, a new multifunction LCD monitor, an automatic air conditioner, increased visibility, and large storage space.”
The machine sports an excavator-specific Cummins QSM11 engine, a rollover protective structure (ROPS), and improved access for maintenance. The 950E’s Cummins engine is accessible from both sides of the excavator, with a lift-up door on each wing. LiuGong said that the features have been integrated to provide operators with a safer and more comfortable working environment.
“Easy maintenance and easy control reduce the operator fatigue to guarantee efficient working,” LiuGong concluded.
