Emerson has opened two facilities at its Middle East and Africa (MEA) headquarters in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza).
The Emerson Solutions Center and Emerson Education Center span almost 500m2 in total, and are collocated with the automation systems developer’s regional manufacturing and service facilities.
Emerson Solutions Center has been designed to provide local customers with an “immersive, hands-on experience”, according to the company. Emerson’s latest automation technologies have been installed at the facility, which is also equipped with augmented reality and 3D imaging technologies.
Emerson Education Center has been designed to allow customers to train their workforce in relation to new technologies. The facility will be used to deliver courses from across the spectrum of the automation discipline, according to Emerson.
Commenting on his firm’s latest GCC facilities, Dave Tredinnick, president of Emerson Process Management Middle East and Africa, said: “The opening of our solutions and education centres demonstrate Emerson’s lasting commitment to our customers across the Middle East and Africa region, offering them the opportunity to explore and solve their business challenges by experiencing and implementing the attest automation technologies.
“These investments will further enhance our collaboration with customers and allow them to experience and realise their vision of future operations. And more investments are underway, including the imminent opening of the Emerson Dhahran Techno Valley facility in Saudi Arabia,” he added.
