Raimondi Cranes has announced that it will be making its CONEXPO-CON/AGG debut this year.

The Italian-headquartered equipment manufacturer, which was acquired by Saudi Arabia’s KBW Investments in 2014, will use the Las Vegas exhibition to increase its brand visibility in North America.

Raimondi intends to use the show as a platform to introduce a selection of its latest products to prospective clients in North America, including the LR213 luffing model and the MRT159 flat-top crane.

Commenting on the manufacturer’s plans for the exhibition, Domenico Ciano, technical director for Raimondi Cranes, said: “This is the first time in the history of Raimondi Cranes that we’ve taken steps to increase our visibility in North America.

“By confirming our participation in the 2017 edition of CONEXPO-CON/AGG, we are signalling to the markets of Canada and the United States that we are looking to cultivate strong, new relationships, while simultaneously developing upon cooperative efforts with our existing client base.”

Raimondi’s entire executive team, including its technical, export, and aftersales experts, will be present at company’s booth to liaise with existing and prospective clients.

“As an Italian heritage brand that has now transitioned into a more advanced technical space by implementing research-based design into our latest product launches – the luffing LR213 and the MRT159 – we believe it’s now time to increase our North American activities,” said Ciano.

“CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017, [which is] collocated with the IFPE 2017, is a terrific opportunity for Raimondi to further its re-entry [into] the respective North American markets. We are dedicating considerable resources to re-establishing Raimondi’s heavy lifting market share in both the United States and Canada, and our on-the-ground participation at the event is just one part of our planned activations targeting those regions,” he added.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 is expected to attract more than 2,500 exhibitors from across the spectrum of global construction.

The Raimondi Cranes team, which will be present throughout the event from 7-11 March, will occupy Silver 1-2, booth S5035.
