Kuwait-based Integrated Logistics Company (ILC) has taken delivery of the first two Demag AC 300-6 all terrain cranes from Terex Cranes.

ILC plans to put the cranes to work at several construction sites throughout the Gulf region.

The new six axle Demag AC 300-6 all-terrain crane, with a 300t classification, features an 80m main boom, which can perform jobs at heights up to 78m or 74m radius without rigging a jib.

Its compact design makes it the smallest crane in the Demag AC range with a luffing jib.

The crane is designed to meet axle load limitations and provide additional payload for lifting accessories.

Salah Al Huwaidi, CEO, Integrated Logistics Company, said: “After much consideration we selected the brand new Demag AC 300-6 because it combines long reach with a strong load chart to give us the perfect fit for efficient work at height or on reach, and it offers interchangeable components.”

ILC owns and operates a fleet of more than 2000 vehicles and equipment, including 600 cranes, 200 axle lines, and tower lifting gantry systems.

In 2017, ILC signed an order for 12 Demag cranes, including two AC 130-5, four AC 160-5 and six AC 300-6 all-terrain cranes.
